Karabagh

The Karabagh district lies southeast of the Kazak district in the southern part of the Caucasus, along the border with Iran. Although many different designs are woven in rugs from Karabagh, repeated boteh, single and multiple medallions, bouquets of roses, Herati and prayer designs are most common.
