Berkshire Flooring is a manufacturer of residential carpet tiles.  Our goal is simple: make carpet fun, easy to install, and environmentally viable.  Who we are really originates with the question of why we are… Why carpet tile?

There are many reasons to use carpet tile.  The most obvious is the reduction in waste materials.  When compared to a typical broadloom installation, carpet tiles save on average 15 to 20% on waste.  That may not seem like much, but in a 2,000 square foot home, that can equate to thousands of dollars in savings!

Simply Green carpet tiles are easy to install.  No tack strip, no glue, no kicking and stretching.  Simply remove the tile from the box and place it on your floor.

Additionally, with Berkshire’s Simply Stick-It adhesive system, tiles can be installed in a room simply by shifting furniture to one side of the room and then the other.  If a tile is damaged, it can easily be removed and replaced without disturbing the room.  Furthermore, the tiles can be removed and reinstalled without the need of any new adhesive, allowing for easy remodeling.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, our carpet tiles are environmentally friendly.  Many of our products use recycled and rapidly renewable resources.  Check out our environmental story section for more information.
