We can safely and effectively clean most rug types. Orientals are our specialty! Rarely, some rug types can create cleaning difficulties. We can not clean silk rugs or rugs with natural animal-skin backings as these have a very high likelihood of damage. Some rugs with natural fibers and extremely bright dyes may not be very color-fast and would have to be cleaned at the customer's risk. Jute or coir rugs also do not tend to clean up very well. Please see a staff member if you have any questions about a particular rug.

Area rugs are $0.30 per square foot to clean on one side and $0.45 per square foot to clean on both sides (reversibles and rugs with special problems are cleaned on both sides.) We also have an $8.00 minimum per rug. Mothproofing is $0.22 per square foot and scotchguarding is $0.15 per square foot. Charges for beating extremely dirty rugs, which is necessary in rare instances, are based on the time involved.

Wall-to-wall cleaning for properties in our local area costs $0.24 per square foot. Scotchguarding is $0.12 per square foot. We have a $45.00 minimum for jobs done in our local area. Trip charges for services performed out of our local area can vary based on the amount of cleaning done and whether or not we have another service to perform in that area. Many factors affect how quickly cleaned carpeting dries - the style and age of the carpet, the weather, layout of the house, etc. You should plan to stay off of the carpet as much as possible for at least 5 hours. Anything you can do to get air circulating over the carpet (fans, open windows, etc.) will speed up the drying process.

Absolutley not. Our cleaners are happy to help move any small, moveable items (chairs, tables, etc.) Anything extremely large or heavy they can leave in place and work around. We do, however, recommend that any small knick-knacks or breakables be removed from the area prior to our arrival. We also do not disconnect or move computer equipment.

You can bring area rugs to our customer service counter at any time that we are open. You do not need an appointment. Our staff will be happy to help carry in anything too big or heavy for the customer to handle.
