Dunk & Bright Furniture Co.,employs an interior design and sales staff of approximately 30 professionals, that includes the largest design staff in central New York. Our designers have both academic design credentials, such as college degrees in interior design or other design-specific scholastic training, such as the New York School of Interior Design. Our staff has many years of experience and is able to choose and recommend furnishings from an almost unlimited selection of showroom samples and catalog items in our 100,000 square foot location.

Our designers are trained in providing "turnkey" design assistance for both residential and commercial projects, anywhere in the US and Canada. A Dunk & Bright designer may visit your home or commercial facility, take measurements, whether it is one room or an entire house or facility, and draw a room plan showing existing furnishings and any prospective changes. The floor plan will take into account traffic patterns, practical usage, doorways, windows, etc. Our designer will also assist in color & finish coordination and selection, make recommendations regarding trims, paints, wallcoverings, moldings, floor coverings (including hand-made Oriental rugs and wall-to-wall carpet), window treatments, lamps, pictures, mirrors, trees, accessories, etc. Besides having New York State's largest selection of furniture on display, Dunk & Bright designs and makes custom window treatments from a huge selection of designer fabrics, or from our client's own material. Dunk & Bright also offers thousands of wall-to-wall carpet choices, has a huge hand-made Oriental rug selection, and hundreds of lamps (including New York State's largest Stiffel Lamp display), pictures, mirrors, trees and accessories on display and ready for immediate delivery or pick-up.

For our client's convenience, Dunk & Bright will deliver and set-up your home furnishings purchases. Dunk & Bright will consolidate all manufacturers' shipments into our separate 150,000 square foot warehouse in Syracuse, prep and blanket wrap all items, and deliver all items at once, anywhere in the US & Canada.

Recent jobs that we have completed include an upscale contemporary home in Palm Desert, California. This job required our designer to fly to the home on several occasions to assist the owner in planning the redesign of the interior, including custom made furniture, custom designed wall-to-wall carpeting, custom designed brass door-handles, andirons, and occasional tables, a custom video and wet bar, among many other features. Dunk & Bright arranged for a designer-delivery service in Palm Desert to consolidate and deliver all of the furnishings. We have completed thousands of other jobs in New York city, Canada, Florida, North Carolina, and in nearly every other states, including homes, condominiums, senior care facilities, dormitories, group residences and hotels.
