Lacey's will be happy to cut and bind your area rug - or used carpet removed from a room - to your dimensions.  "Binding" refers to sewing a cloth strip along the edge of the carpet to prevent unraveling and to give your rug a more finished look.  The cost for this service is $1.00 per foot for rugs that can be machine-bound and $2.00 for rugs that need to be done by hand (such as reversible rugs or rugs that are too thick to go through the machine.)  There may also be a small charge if a great deal of cutting is necessary. 

We may also be able to resew braided rugs, seam tears, refringe area rugs, patch holes (if more material is available), rehook damaged hooked rugs, restretch bubbling wall-to-wall carpet, and stabilize damaged carpet.  Please see a sales associate for information on how we can help your rug look its best!
